This the first ship to carry the name HMS Cordelia was a
Cherokee Class, 10-gun, brig-sloop. Built by King of Upnor, launched 26-Jul-1808 and of 239 tons builders measurement. Sold 12-Dec-1833. Won the Battle Honour; Algiers 1816.
