HMS Queen (1839) (4th)

This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Queen was a first rate,
110-gun, ship-of-the-line. Built at Portsmouth Dockyard, launched 15-May-1839, 204ft 6in long, 60ft wide, and of 3,104 tons builders measurement (bm). Conversion to a screw ship completed 05-May-1859, with an increased tonnage of 3,249 tons bm, and guns reduced to 86-guns. Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1845 and the Royal Fleet Review 1853. Broken up at Charlton, 1871. Won the Battle Honour: Crimea 1854-55.
